We planned a short trip to Munnar. I visited Munnar before, 3 to 4 times, along with my school / college mates and along with my family. This trip we planned only for our kid. My daughter is having two intimate friends. Their friendship started from their pre-kg classes. We, their parents , are also good friends now. We don't really want to break their friendship. We selected Munnar because of the cool climate. I was sure that kids will really enjoy the climate and the place. On the way to Munnar We booked a Qualis and started the journey by 1.30 p.m. from Ernakulam. It was very hot. Everybody loves holidays because during our holidays we can relax and have fun. We get enough time to travel. As usual during this summer holidays we planned a family get together. Unfortunately almost all tourist places were booked and there was no place for us to stay. So we were compelled to plan a one day trip near to our place. At last we got one resort near Cherai beach. We got this only because my cousin brother's friend is running this resort. The resort is facing towards the beach. We can enjoy the beauty of the sunset sitting on the top of the resort. They charged Rs.500/- per head. They gave us food and two rooms. We reached the resort by 11 o’clock. From the resort there is a narrow way towards the beach; through which we can enter into the beach. We kept our luggage in the rooms and went to the beach.
