Cherai Beach, Kerala, India

Everybody loves holidays because during our holidays we can relax and have fun. We get enough time to travel.


As usual during this summer holidays we planned a family get together. Unfortunately almost all tourist places were booked and there was no place for us to stay. So we were compelled to plan a one day trip near to our place. At last we got one resort near Cherai beach. We got this only because my cousin brother's friend is running this resort.





The resort is facing towards the beach. We can enjoy the beauty of the sunset sitting on the top of the resort. They charged Rs.500/- per head. They gave us food and two rooms.




We reached the resort by 11 o’clock. From the resort there is a narrow way towards the beach; through which we can enter into the beach. We kept our luggage in the rooms and went to the beach. It was very hot and the kids were very tired. We spent around 1 hr in the beach and came back to the resort.



This was the first person we met in the beach. His friends were also there but i took only his picture.



By 1 o'clock we had our lunch. These were the items we got from the resort.


Ground nut with lemon.Fish fry. It was very delicious and very crispy.
Egg Omlet
"Karimeen Pollichathu" one of the famous dishes of Kerala. It was really good and spicy.

After having food, by 4.30 we again went to beach with our kids.











The sunset was awesome.

I did lot of experiment with my cam. I really love to take photos.



Those day was amazing and unforgettable, I wished if I had more days and time to spend over there.



My holiday was exciting and full of joy. I enjoyed it immensely. I am looking forward to going there again soon.
To reach Cherai beach - The Cochin International Airport is located 20 kms away. The nearest railway station is at Aluva, situated about 22 km away.
From Ernakulam city - Marine Drive & through the Goshree bridges - Vypeen island – Cherai beach .
From Aluva – North Paravur – Cherai beach.

Cherai Beach, Kerala is a beautiful tourist place in India. Goa holidays tour is also a most famous destination in India because Goa cultural is mix with European and India. Goa also has world famous churches and beaches.

Valparai

Valparai is the place where we (me, my sister and brother) used to go during our summer vacations when we were young school going kids; because our dad and mom was in Valparai. My dad was working in a tea estate which comes under BBTC and mom was a high school teacher. Because of the lack of good schools in Valparai; we were forced to stay along with our grandmother and completed our studies in Kochi, Kerala. The most prestigious, impressive, inspiring and pollution free greenish heavenly land Valparai, a Municipality of Coimbatore district in Tamilnadu, is located above 3,500 feet from the sea level on the Anamalai Hills range of Western Ghats. Thiruvanchikulam Maha Deva Temple - A pilgrim travelogue

We had a discussion about Indian culture , traditions and temples during the leisure time. One of my colleagues told us about the temple Thiruvanchikulam and stories behind this temple. It was really interesting. I searched in Google to find more about this temple and i got a chance to visit this temple.  This temple lies at Methala village, south of Kodungalloor in Thrissur district, Kerala . It is one of the rare temples in Kerala , which retains its ancient Tamil flavor and connections. The outline map of the construction of the temple which was built in the 9 th century.
